Ojoma Sule, the CEO of Posharella Beauty with the self-acclaimed title “the minister of happiness” shares her experience as a cast in the reality tv show, Real Housewives of Abuja.
OJ Posharella who noted that the show did not depict who she truly is as it’s supposed to be also recounted how time was a challenging factor for her during the show which according to her made her business and family to suffer.
In an interview with Savvymedia Online, OJ Posharella said “It was timing, oh my God! It was really challenging because it took a lot of my time. And my business and my family suffered for that.”
The reality television show Real Housewives of Abuja is known for its controversy as each cast does their bit to out-run the other in a quest to showcase who the real housewife of Abuja is.
Made up of intrigue, drama, suspense etc., Real Housewives of Abuja showcases women with striking personalities who are successful in various works of life.
Each of these women have different motives for being a part of the reality tv show.
For OJ Posharella her motivation was to “showcase” herself.
She said “I’m an entertainer and I wanted to branch into that. Make sure I follow my dreams and my passion which is music and acting; to showcase my talent to the world.”
In the cause of events, there’s throwing of shades, pointing fingers, and tantrums. Every woman for herself, is displayed as each woman stands up for herself in the show.
In an entertaining show such as this, conflict is inevitable.
For OJ Posharella she was able to manage conflict/drama with casts members very well.
“Well they call me the minister of happiness so I balance that out very well. And so, I didn’t get to anybody business but they seem to have loved to get into mine and created false stories. And they made me feel like I was too good to be true”.
When asked if they were moments that were not displayed, which she wished was displayed, OJ Posharella said “well, a lot of them. But well, it’s good, all good”.
Being on a show as this opens participants/cast to critic.These individuals are smeared by the public and they only receive love and accolades from fans who believe in their idealogy, lifestyle and the way portray themselves on screen, and other individuals who truly know them outside of the show.
Many of this casts do not care what the public say about them. As it is widely said people will always talk.
“Well, I have very tough skin. People mistake my kindness for weakness but I’m a very tough person and nothing really gets to me especially things that I don’t do or you say things that I’m not, it doesn’t get to me so I’m very good” says OJ Posharella when asked how she deals with public scrutiny and action that comes with being on television.
The amiable personality also noted her favourite experience from filming the show, real housewives of Abuja as “being able to hang-out and have a girl trip”.
