Whenever big names get into spats and feuds of any sort they make headlines and the internet lives for these moments.
Today, we will be taking a trip to highlight some of the celebrities the controversial singer Portable has publicly fought with.
Known for his controversial lifestyle, the Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly called Portable came into limelight after the release of his song Zazu and ever since he has become one of the fastest-growing Nigerian singers.
Portable whose controversial lifestyle usually ends up in the news has recorded many feuds with known celebrities since he came to limelight.
Here are five celebrities Portable has publicly fought with since 2024
1. Feud with Davido/Zlantan: The news which is currently trending began after Davido had invited the singer during his US music tour for a dinner where he gifted him a Dior designer sneakers. Portable whose nature forbids people acting fake with him lost it after Davido’s colleague Zlantan Ibile told Portable through a phone conversation with Davido to behave himself.
The ‘Zazu’ crooner alleged that Zlatan attempted to tarnish his image before Davido during his outing with the DMW boss in Atlanta, U.S.A.
“Why would you call Davido while we were together and try to pick a fight with me on the phone for chilling with Davido? Did Wizkid not give you a chance? Why is Zlatan angry seeing me with Davido?”
In a video posted on his Instagram page, Portable had also accused Davido of giving him ‘bad advice’ during their recent dinner in the United States. He claimed that Davido, who signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the label and urged him to sign with Empire instead.
The ‘Zazu’ crooner alleged foul play, saying he is also aiming for a Grammy like Davido yet the DMW boss is asking him to join a label that might not influence the award for him.
Following his outburst, Davido unfollowed him on Instagram on Thursday.
Reacting, Portable said he doesn’t need Davido’s followership or assistance to be a successful artist or to win a Grammy.
He insinuated that Davido unfollowed him because he stopped being beneficial to him.
2. Feud with Bobrisky: The two celebrities were at loggerheads as a result of the award given to Bobrisky as the best dressed female at the Eniola Ajao Movie Premiere.
Portable the Zeh Nation founder in his reaction to this insisted that the transgender is and would always be a man and no amount of body altering could change that fact.
Bobrisky responded by threatening to send Portable to where he will not be released.
The two celebs later continued their clash in their DMs with both of them heaping insults and cursing each other. While Bobrisky in a voice note threatened to lock Portable up, the singer on his part called Bobrisky gay and said he is waiting for him to come lock him up.
He went further to compose a song for bobrisky stating that the Mummy of Lagos wants to leave the brotherhood for sisterhood but would be stoned to death.
3. Feud with Poco Lee
It all started when fame came knocking on his door after famous Nigerian singer Olamide had featured Portable and popular dancer Poco Lee in the hit song Zazu Zeh.
Shortly after the song started making waves, Portable, in a series of videos that went viral on social media, called out Poco Lee for allegedly stealing the money given to him by Nigerian Grammy winner Wizkid during his performance with Olamide at Livespot X Festival.
His outburst revealed that he was only given $600 of the money while Poco Lee made away with the remaining $2400. While Poco Lee never reacted to the statement, the video amassed different reactions from Nigerians online.
Portable’s outburst did not go down well with his producer, Kogbagidi, which provoked him to walk Portable out from the record label.
However, he later apologized to his promoter, and at the same time, other celebrities like Olamide, Slimcase and Yomi Fabiyi also joined him, apologising to music promoter Kogbagidi on behalf of the singer.
4. Charles Okocha: The root of the conflict between Portable and Charles Okocha was a financial issue. Portable accused Okocha of embezzling N20 million from him, claiming that Okocha cheated him in a deal they had both secured and only sent him a small amount of the agreed sum.
Following the financial disagreement, the two celebrities engaged in an intense online war of words. This public dispute further fueled their animosity, eventually leading to the idea of settling their differences through a boxing match which portable won.
5. Wizkid: Portable took a swipe at his senior colleague Wizkid after the release of his verse on the remix of ‘Abracadabra,’ a song by Rexxie.
While dishing a word of advice to Big Wiz, the Zazoo Zeh singer stated that the Grammy award-winning singer should think about his lyrics before entering the studio boot.
He said in Pidgin, “Any music you want to sing, think about it. Which one is ten girls naked on my bed? God I beg you, I have nothing in my pocket. Where would I see the money to spend on ten girls on my bed? If you want to do music pray. Can’t you praise God? Are you not seeing the reality of things?
