Popular Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayo Makun, widely known as AY Comedian has opened up on the impact supporting Peter Obi had on his life.
The comedian said on his AY Live program that he had no remorse about endorsing Peter Obi’s bid for president in 2023.
He did point out that his support for Peter Obi brought some challenges to his life and family but never regretted doing so.
He disclosed that he lost his house to a fire outbreak following the elections, got into a serious argument with Davido and Seun Kuti, and almost ended his marriage.AY Makun however emphasized that he has no regrets showing support to Peter Obi during the elections.
Meanwhile, the comedian has shut down the speculations of having a child outside wedlock by bringing his son out on stage during his show. Recall that the comedian made a shocking post on his Instagram page on March 19, unveiling his son on his 17th birthday.
This stirred a lot of speculations online since the renowned filmmaker is only known to have had two daughters with his wife, Mabel.
Some netizens surmised that his son could be the reason behind his tumultuous marital crisis.
The comedian invited him to the stage during a recent AY live performance and wished him a happy arrival in Nigeria.
Addressing the issue of having a child outside wedlock, AY revealed that his son in question was the child of his sister.
