Popular Nigerian hit singer Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo popularly known as D’banj has melted the hearts of Nigerians following his recent heartwarming video with music producer Don Jazzy.
Taking to his verified Instagram page today, D’banj the “Fall in Love” crooner visited Don Jazzy in his mansion and by extension presented him an invite to his 20years anniversary dinner.
Recall that in 2004, Don Jazzy teamed up with D’Banj to form Mo’ Hits Records. Over the next two years, Don Jazzy produced the albums “No Long Thing” and “Rundown/Funk You Up.”
In March 2012, Don Jazzy used his Twitter account to announce that D’Banj had left the group due to differences in interests. Following this, Don Jazzy established a new record label, Mavin Records.
However, in the IG post, D’banj said that his 20 years anniversary in the Nigerian music industry can’t be complete without Don Jazzy stressing that he is being reminded of the countless memories and milestones they have shared together.
In the post D’banj wrote;
“My 20 year journey cannot be complete without It’s @donjazzy again! Giving him the invite to my anniversary dinner was a moment filled with nostalgia . As we both celebrate 20 years in the industry, I’m reminded of the countless memories and milestones we’ve shared together. Here’s to two decades of brotherhood, entertainment, and unwavering support. Love you always, Brother! OooSHeeeee 💥.”
Responding via the comment section, Don Jazzy wrote; “Still finding it hard to believe it’s been 20years bro. Feels like yesterday. Thank you for everything. Love you brotherLee . More blessings 🤍🐘.”
