The family of the late comic veteran nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu is currently facing criticism after they solicited for funds for the late actors burial.
It would be recalled that last month, the actor’s family announced a five-day funeral ceremony set to culminate in his burial on June 28, 2024.
Mr Ibu passed away after suffering cardiac arrest on March 2, 2024, at Evercare Hospital in Lagos, after months of hospitalisation, during which one of his legs was amputated.
In a recent update, the central planning committee, consisting of his family and friends, appealed to the public for donations to ensure a successful burial.
As such, the family has launched a GoFundMe page to help cover the funeral costs for the actor.
