The 2024 Paris Fashion Week which kicked off in France on Tuesday, had some of Nigeria’s biggest Afrobeats stars present. The nigerian superstars were spotted at the show, which is set to last a week.
Some of the most famous faces spotted in clips that have emerged online include Nigeria’s Starboi Wizkid, Tems, Adekunle Gold, Burna Boy and Rema.
In one of the clips making the rounds, Adekunle Gold was seen sharing a warm hug with Wizkid after he ran into him at the reception.
Burna Boy on the other hand was spotted sharing some warm exchanges with former Mavins signee Rema. The trending clips from the fashion show have got people talking.
Another highlight of the show was when Burna Boy hugged former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba during the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2025 presentation.
Meanwhile, a trending clip of the Nigerian singer Burna Boy speaking to a journalist in which he revealed his favourite food, movie, and song has gone viral.
During the short interview, Burna Boy also shared a piece of advice which he noted was the most important for a young up-and-coming artist.
The Afrofusion star shared during his interview with Louis Vuitton that the one thing a young creative must always have in the back of their mind is knowing they must stay true to who they are.
During the conversation, he also revealed that Yam and Fried Stew are his favourite food. He noted that the Netflix series Lupin is his favourite movie at the moment. However, Burna got people talking the most when he revealed that his best song at the moment was recorded the night before he came for the LV’s presentation.
One of the fascinating moments was when Adekunle Gold’s hit Falling Up was used as the closing song at the fashion show.
The Rodo crooner stole the show with his hit collaborative song with the curator of the event, Pharrell Williams, ‘Falling Up’ closing Day 1 of the Paris Fashion Week.
A video showed a proud Adekunle Gold singing along the moment his song came up. Rema, who was seated beside Tems, extended a handshake to his colleague over the recognition.
Falling Up by Adekunle Gold featured Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams. It was a track on the album Tequila Ever After, released in 2023.
