The General Overseer of Dunamis Church, Pastor Paul Enenche made headlines after a viral video surfaced showing him confronting a woman during her testimony.
The woman who claimed to be the first graduate in her family, during her testimony in the church stated that she obtained a BSc in law which drew the attention of the Man of God.
Not certain about the authenticity of the Testimony and the command of her English, Pastor Enenche asked her what degree she graduated with and she said ‘’Law”.
Prodding further, the cleric asked her what kind of Law degree, the lady answered ‘’B.Sc in Law”. Displeased with her reply the Pastor pointed out that there’s no such degree as a BSc in law, casting doubt on her testimony.
He asked that the lady leave the altar and warned his members never to come to the altar to lie about a “testimony.”
Meanwhile, Nigerians took to social media to react, with some expressing amusement at the situation and others criticizing the woman for potentially lying on the altar.
Some users joked about similar experiences with family members who claimed to be studying law but never graduated.
The incident sparked a mix of reactions online, highlighting the importance of vetting testimonies before they are shared publicly.
In a recent revelation, Nigerians have unearthed evidence debunking accusations made by Pastor Enenche against the lady.
Receipts in the form of graduation pictures and official documentation have emerged, affirming the authenticity of the lady’s testimony.
